The length of time it takes to see results from counseling sessions with Valley View Counselling varies depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some clients may see improvements after just a few sessions, while others may require longer-term therapy.
The therapist at Valley View Counselling holds a BA Hons degree in Counselling and Therapeutic Practises and additional qualifications within the field of Counselling and Psychology.
Valley View Counselling provides counselling services for individuals of all ages, including children 7+, young adults, adults and older adults 60+.
Everyone's journey to growing, changing and healing is different as every client is unique. Therefore, the amount of sessions that each person may choose to have will vary. Therapy can last anywhere from one session a week for a few weeks, to many months or many years, depending on the clients needs and wants. We can discuss this along the way and find what best is suited to you.
Yes, confidentiality is paramount. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy I am bound by their ethical framework for good practice. Only in situations such as risk to life, safety of children or disclosure of acts of terrorism (1989) would I make contact with third parties.
